Wendell, He can not be adopted out to anyone with small kids. He doesn't like to get alot of loving. You can pet him a few times mostly on his head then he's done he will start meowing and if you don't stop he will smack you or bite you. So his foster has been working with him and will pet him few times a day, find his limit and stop. Then after period of time to pet him one more time after his limit (this is according to some some cat behavioral books) He seems to be responding to these exercises. Wenell seems to only get along with are one cat Tiger that his foster has. He will let other animals by him now but he still will lash out at times, so it may be best that he is an only cat. Based on what his foster has seen, we believe he's not a lovey dovey kind of cat and doesnt like a lot of attention. He is not a bad cat, he has actched himself to the fosters youngest son, he sleep with him and he follows him around, but her son doesn't set and pet or kiss on him alot they just lay on the bed together. Wendell just wants someone he can just hang out with and give him an understanding and forever home.
