Katie is such a sweet girl. She came to us with a litter of pups. All her pups are now in homes and we are working on getting her all healthy and ready for her new home. Katie is heartworm positive stage 2, she is going through the long term treatment which consist of taking an antibiotic and getting her monthly dose of heartguard. After 12 months she will get retested. Katies new family needs to be committed to keeping her on the medication, she can play but for short periods at a time.
